1. Limited Product Warranty New England Injectors Inc. (NEI) warrants that its remanufactured fuel injectors will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is limited solely to the repair, replacement, or refund of the purchased part(s) at the sole discretion of NEI.
2. Exclusion of Labor and Installation Costs NEI shall not be liable for any costs associated with the installation, removal, or re-installation of any product. This includes, but is not limited to, shop labor charges, towing fees, rental vehicle costs, or any other service-related expenses.
3. Limitation of Damages (No Consequential Loss) To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEI specifically disclaims and excludes liability for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Engine damage or total engine failure.
- Damage to other vehicle components (e.g., catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, fuel pumps).
- Loss of use of the vehicle, loss of time, or loss of profits/income.
- Personal injury or property damage arising from the use or failure of the product.
4. Proper Installation Required This warranty is void if the product is subject to misuse, neglect, improper installation, contamination (dirt/water in fuel system), or use in applications for which it was not intended (e.g., racing or unauthorized modifications). Professional installation is highly recommended.
5. Maximum Liability In no event shall the total liability of New England Injectors Inc. exceed the actual purchase price paid for the specific product that is the subject of a claim. By purchasing and installing NEI products, the customer accepts these terms in full.
6. Pre-Installation & Fuel System Requirements
The longevity and performance of fuel injectors are entirely dependent on the cleanliness and integrity of the vehicle's fuel system. As a condition of this warranty, the customer/installer is explicitly responsible for:
- Mandatory Filter Replacement: Replacing the primary and any secondary fuel filters at the time of injector installation.
- System Hygiene: Inspecting and cleaning fuel rails, lines, and tanks to ensure no debris, rust, or old fuel residue enters the new injectors.
- System Verification: Verifying that fuel pressure is within OEM specifications and that the electrical system (ECU signals and wiring harness) is delivering the correct voltage/pulse to the injectors.
Note: Any injector found to have internal debris, "trash," or evidence of fuel contamination upon return will have its warranty voided immediately.
7. Exclusions & Misdiagnosis
This warranty applies only to the mechanical and electrical failure of the injector unit itself. It does not cover:
- Misdiagnosis: Costs or issues arising from replacing injectors when the actual fault lies elsewhere in the vehicle.
- Electrical Faults: Damage caused by faulty ECU drivers, short circuits in the wiring harness, or improper grounding.
- Bench Test Requirement: No refund or replacement will be issued until the suspect injector has been returned to NEI and fails our professional bench testing. If an injector passes all flow, leak, and electrical tests, it will be returned to the customer as "No Fault Found," and no warranty claim will be honored.
8. Warranty Shipping Policy
To initiate a warranty inspection, the following shipping terms apply:
- Inbound Shipping: The customer is responsible for all costs and insurance associated with shipping the suspect part(s) to the NEI facility for testing.
- Outbound Shipping: If the injector is found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, NEI will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement unit back to the customer (Standard Shipping within the US).
- Non-Defective Returns: If the part passes testing (No Fault Found), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
